Le menciona el Padre Arnaud al Sabio Caldas su agradecimiento al Presidente Marco Fidel Su\u00e1rez quien lo nombr\u00f3 Director Ad honorem de la Colonizaci\u00f3n Oriental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Treparon con un grupo de valientes las monta\u00f1as y selvas del alto Guatiqu\u00eda y el Guavio, estudi\u00f3 y traz\u00f3 rutas sobre el mapa que adjunta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Son cuatro v\u00edas para unir a Bogot\u00e1 con Uribe, Bogot\u00e1 con San Mart\u00edn, Bogot\u00e1 con Villavicencio y Bogot\u00e1- F\u00f3meque- Medina y Cabuyaro, en esa \u00e9poca puerto internacional sobre el r\u00edo Meta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hac\u00eda notar que eran todas importantes y ninguna era alterna para evitar el cuello de botella de Villavicencio a regiones distantes e importantes para un futuro desarrollo del Meta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desgraciadamente las autoridades capitalinas solo autorizaron la v\u00eda m\u00e1s peligrosa que tantas vidas ha cobrado y da\u00f1os ha causado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Continuamos
